Why aren't my photos showing on the map?
PassBy uses the GPS location embedded in your photos to place them on the map. Make sure Location Services is enabled for your Camera app in iOS Settings. Photos taken with GPS disabled won't have location data and can't be mapped.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find PassBy, and tap Cancel. You'll keep Premium access until the end of your billing period.
Can I delete my account and all data?
Yes. You can delete individual trips within the app, or email privacy@passby.com to request full account deletion. All your data — trips, photos, and account info — will be permanently removed from our servers.
What photo formats are supported?
PassBy supports JPEG, HEIC, and PNG photos. HEIC is the default format on iPhone, so your camera roll photos will work seamlessly.
Does PassBy track my location?
No. PassBy only reads GPS coordinates already embedded in photos you select. We do not access your real-time location or track your movements. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I share my video?
After exporting, the iOS share sheet opens automatically. Share directly to Instagram, TikTok, iMessage, WhatsApp, or save to your camera roll. Videos are exported in 9:16 portrait format, optimized for social media.
